Our mission

Talent is everywhere. The chance to prove it isn't.

Spoon exists for one reason: so the best person for a job gets it, not the best-connected one.

Somewhere right now, someone is about to be passed over. Not because they can't do the work, but because their name looked unfamiliar, their school wasn't the right one, or they simply didn't know the right person.

It happens quietly, in the first ten seconds of a glance at a CV. By the time a real conversation might have happened, the door has already closed. We've all watched it happen to someone good. Many of us have lived it.

We think that's a waste, of people, of potential, and of the teams that never got to meet them. So we built a different door.

What we believe.

Work speaks louder than pedigree

Where you went to school and who you've met say little about what you can build. What you can do says everything. We start there.

Everyone deserves the same first question

Not a warmer welcome for familiar names and a colder one for the rest. The same fair conversation, for everyone, every time.

A name should never decide a career

A name, a photo, a postcode, none of it predicts whether someone will be great at the job. So until it's earned, none of it is seen.

Give people room to show up

A real interview, at real length, where you can actually explain your thinking, beats a thirty-second skim of a CV every single time.

How we live it.

Three simple commitments. No tricks, no fine print.

01

We hide what shouldn't matter

Names, photos and contact details are kept private. Companies meet your skills and your answers first, and only learn who you are when they want to take you forward.

02

We give everyone the same real interview

Our AI sits down with every candidate and actually listens, asking follow-ups, drawing out the story behind the answer. The same depth of attention for the first applicant and the thousandth.

03

We let the work do the talking

Skills, the interview, and a short verified test decide who moves forward. Merit, plainly measured, so good people stop slipping through the cracks.

If you're looking

You get a fair shot. Build one honest profile, sit one real interview, and be judged on the work, not your background. No cover-letter theatre. No knowing the right person.

Build your profile

If you're hiring

You meet people you'd otherwise have missed, chosen for what they can do. Fairer for them, and a better hire for you. Doing the right thing and finding the right person turn out to be the same thing.

Hire with Spoon

Help us make hiring fair.

Whether you're looking for your next role or your next teammate, you're on the right side of this.
